Communication protocols MODBUS and BACNET
Duration: 1 day. time 9.00am-5.00pm Italian Time
Training goal
The training is aimed at Authorized Service Centers. The course will cover the following communication protocols:
Modbus RTU / RS485;
Modbus TCP / IP;
BACnet / IP.
The training is mainly focused on practical activities aimed at enhancing the skills of technicians on the approach to these protocols and the related gateways.
At the end of the course the technician must be able to correctly interface, with the use of dedicated softwares, his PC to a Modbus (RTU or TCP) or BACnet IP gateways, correctly interpreat the meaning of the values displayed in the application and identify the causes of any problems.

Training requirements:
In order to take advantage from the training, we encourage the attendees to read the presentations and the materials sent the days before. We inviting also the attendees to formulate questions.
If possible, it is advisable that participants bring the following material with them:
- USB/RS485 converter + 3 cores shielded cable suitable for data transmission (1m is enough);
- LAN cable (2xRJ45 male connectors);
- Laptop (advised O.S.: Windows 7 or Windows 10);
